September 2012

Out to the ball game with Grandma and Grandpa. Uncle Allen was a lot of fun to watch!

The girls made up the game "dogie", Alayna seems to always be the dog!

Some more of my fun Ethan pictures. It is always fun to see what he will come up with next!
Kids playing ring-around -the -rosie, more fun Ethan pictures, the girls friend Bella. The bottom left picture is one of the only pictures I took of my three surgeries last year. After dilating early with all my kids and  having such big babies I started having a problem with varicose veins. I decided to get a consultation to have them looked at, I ended up going in to surgery two days later.  After a month of recovery I had the other leg done, and a month after that I had to have another surgery on the back of the leg I had the second surgery on.  It was a long and painful three months, but I am so glad I had them worked on. I was in pain, but I didn't realize how much pain I was in until it had been taken away. I also am amazed how much of a difference  it made in my ability to exercise. I don't have a heavy pulling feeling after running, or walking a lot.

August 2012

Caitlyn had her baby! His name is Noah Chandler Shelby, he was born on 8/8 and he was 8 lbs! She had him with out medication and did such a wonderful job! Having had Isaac without medication, I was getting a little antsy! I love seeing all these new babies coning into our extended family and cant wait to see more!

I was called late at night to come down and see this cute boy be born. I am so glad I had that opportunity, he is such a sweet little man!

A few weeks later Grandma Evelyn and Aunt Lori came into town and we had a lot of fun at the park!

Back to school! Isaac was in Mrs Cinious Class and Ethan was in Miss Brooks class. This was Ethan's first day of Kindergarten!

Grandma Evelyn brought her dress her mother made for her and that she has had all the granddaughters, and now great granddaughters take pictures in.  Olivia loved that photo shoot!

Alayna was not quite sure about taking pictures!

Olivia and Alayna found their dress ups and put as many of them on as they could!

We had a fun impromptu dancing show!

It is fun to see the best of friends my girls have become! I always find the most interesting pictures on my camera!

Such a handsome man!

I went across the street and helped my friend Marie make a Batman cake for her son Carters birthday. It was a lot of fun to hang out and then to later have a fun party!

July 2012

Jeremiah got his Eagle in July. It was a lot of fun to see so much family and hang out. Congratulations Jer!
Another great year at the Hatch Family Reunion! It was so nice to have the girls walking and able to get around......except for the fact that Alayna broke her leg a few days before! She was playing in the boys room, and fell down the bunk bed ladder. On the x-ray you can see were the board pushed into her bone, I was so sad to see my little girl in pain. We had to wait for her swelling to go down that weekend so that we could go get a cast put on the next Monday. We spent the whole weekend trying to keep Alayna out of the dirt. We finally had to put bags on her splint and just let her go get dirty...she is such an outdoors kind of girl!

We love the Finch Reunion and being able to see all the family every year. It is like a whole bunch of little reunions in a large one. On Saturday we all come together to ply games and have a lot of fun!

On the last night of the reunion we had a glowing parade. All the kids were giving glow sticks to make costumes, than we walked around the campground to show them off!
We had a family pick-nick out at Daybreak when Aunt Mary was in town. Caitlyn was almost ready to have Noah and Alayna finally had her boot on (our pediatrition decided he wanted a boot on Alayna). The upper picture was Alayna right before she went in to have her mole removed off her face, it was abnormal and so we had to take it off.  Poor girl, she had a lot going on with the doctors this month.

The kids loved fishing with Grandpa Berg!

Taking pictures with Laurie, Mary, Whitney and Heather! Taking pictures on the way back home. Grandpa gave us a new bird.

May 2012

We went to down to California in May. We stayed for a few days with my mom at a time-share in San Diego and had fun visiting Grandma and Grandpa Lindshield at their house in Escondido. We also had Grandma Evelyn and Uncle Jerry over to the condo for diner.

On our trip Grandma and Grandpa Smutz got us tickets to Sea World, it was about a week before a new ride opened up so their was hardly anyone in the park.

The kids loved getting to see the dolphins and the Shamu Show up close with hardly anyone there!

The kids did a good job patting the water so the dolphins wold come over and let us pet them.

The dolphins had fun getting us wet!

Olivia didn't like getting wet!

It has been about 20 years since I had been to Sea World, it was so fun to share that experience with the Kids and Tyson who have never gone!

The kids loved Shamu!

After Sea World We went to have diner with Grandma and Grandpa Smutz. It was nice to visit and see their fun house with all the fun things they have found on their travels! It was fun to get to know them a little better as well, we don't get to see them that much.

The last half of the week we went up to Disneyland for three days. We met up with our friends the Smiths, they have 4 children like us with two boys about our boys age and two girls with one being 10 days older than the girls. It was so nice to have such a similar family structure, it made splitting up for rides and hanging out a lot of fun!

We could not get the girls out of Minnie's house,I think we spent way to long there!

It was so fun to see the joy on the girls (and boys...cough) faces!

You can't go wrong with bugs life land!

We were not that into taking pictures with characters, we would have likes to, but the standing in line thing to say "Hi" didn't sound as fun as going on a ride.

This is what happens when Mommy takes Isaac on Indiana Jones!

Love them!

So fun when you finally find your friends. They love Kaden and Carter!

The girls with Bella and Tori in Bugs Life Land.

All the kids were so worn out on the first day!

We loved the Toy Story ride, I would have loved to go again, but we didn't feel like standing in the LONG line again! The kids were so cute though!

The boys couldn't miss the opportunity to see Buz!

I would not say we are "Disneyland People", but I do hope we can get back in the next few years. The kids had a lot of fun and it was fun to see their joy in the "Magic Kingdom".
